Outdoor advertising group JCDecaux has teamed up with PowaTag to buy products with their mobile phones by scanning codes printed on thousands of billboards, bus stops and other urban furniture in 20 key cities of Denmark, reports France Mobiles. The two-click purchasing process is available 24/7. The announcement follows news that PowaTag joined forces with Danske Bank to offer all of its functions within the MobilePay contactless payment app used by 2 million Danes. Denmark is the first Scandinavian country to test the solution. PowaTag is used by over 1,200 international brands.
